i just saw a parade consisting of:
a slew of bagpipers and men in tartan skirts
flabbby young belly dancers gyrating awkwardly
an all-black color guard
a parade of dachshunds waddling (this was SO FUNNY)
some average looking beauty queens
my old boss waving out of a smart car with a masive gelato cone on top
a mediocre step team advertising itself as the area's best
the us customs and border patrol...
some obnoxiously loud fire engines
a 5 year old kid playing the drums proficiently on top of a pickup truck
irish dancers of all ages
two women wearing the same houndstooth peacoat, standing side by side and slowly and slyly realising the fact (one woman crossed the street)
several boy scout nativity scenes
a somber nurse looking up at me and waving
a whole bunch of people watching the parade, looking cold and irritated, while i comfortably watched from indoors
i like living on a main street.
